Solo Exhibition - Cultivator at Bray Grove Farm

Monday, October 10, 2016, 2pm - 5pm. To confirm your attendance and receive directions and parking information, please email.

Cultivator is pleased to present a solo exhibition by Catherine Schwalbe during Bray Grove Farm’s Autumn Farm Day. In addition to being an accomplished artist, Cathi shares our passion for art with social practice, growing healthy food, and sustainability. She has produced relevant, thoughtful artwork for this event, reflecting the farm’s mission of environmental stewardship.

Catherine Schwalbe’s exhibition, “Looking for Truth” includes a site specific installation surrounding the farm’s century old tool shed. Applying text from stories about Bray Grove Farm, she reflects on history and promise. In addition, her mixed media sculpture “Corn Scroll," consisting of corn bags and writing, addresses the backstory and demand for corn.

Please join us on Monday, October 10th from 2-5pm for art and conversation, with a tour of the farm at 3pm. Bray Grove Farm is located 70 miles southwest of Chicago in Grundy County. To confirm your attendance and receive directions and parking information, please email.
